How it all began
After completing my university studies in Nicaraguan in 2022, I aspired to pursue my master's degree in the United States. However, in order to achieve this goal, I needed to improve my English language skills for validation and to continue with my academic projects. Encouraged by my parents and siblings, I applied for a humanitarian parole to work for two years. My first stop was in Houston to meet some of my father's friends before heading to New Jersey to live with my best friend, Alexa.
During my time in Houston, I was graciously hosted by Margarita Sanchez, the friend of my father. She introduced me to Christopher, who quickly became a significant presence in my life. Our initial meeting sparked mutual interest and curiosity, leading to a deepening connection. Christopher's thoughtful gestures and attention to detail gradually won my heart, and we eventually became a couple.
As our relationship blossomed, we attended church together then he asked me to marry him - we will exchange vows in the same church. Our love story, born out of a chance encounter in Houston, will now become a lifelong commitment.
We look forward to celebrating our marriage and celebration with you all.
With love and gratitude,
Kenia & Christopher
